WINTER HAIR CARE| HOW TO KEEP YOUR HAIR MOISTURIZE DURING THE WINTER

3:01 AM

Hi again!!

Let keeping real LOL , It is very hard to keep your natural hair moisturized during the winter especially when you want to wear it outside. Imagine that your hair is on FLEEK and all the sudden it started raining and your hair just shrink back to afro LOL

I am telling you this because I have been there before and that was not funny at all, however, the shrinkage does not mean that your hair isn't healthy at all ( don't mistake it). Shrinkage is good for our kinky hair.... well this is not what this title is about.

DRYNESS is every all natural problem and it could get worst if you don't know how to take care your hair properly. To keep your natural hair moisturizer and still retaining the length is what am here for you, so listen loud and clear.

Check out my video where I explain how you should take care your hair during the winter.
Here are more details about my video ( 6 tips)

Step 1: Shampoo, condition,  Deep condition: weekly is very important so that your hair is freshly brand new to absorb new nutritious and moisture into the hair.

Conditions are kinky hair best friend, for detailing and provide the moisture back to the hair for more moisture Deep condition such as Avocado treatment, oil treatment, or any kind of thick treatment will be super great for the hair, especially in the winter.

Step 2: Seal in the moisture
- After washing your hair, you will be using thick oils or butter ( THIS depends on your hair type)  to moisturize. The easiest ways is to use the LCO-method, LBO- method or Oils thick such as Avocado, shea oil, Olive Oil, Castro oil and then you lock it with water

Step 3 Moisturize SCALP
Moisturize your scalp is the most important because that is where our grows which is from the ROOTS !!! Moisturize your scalp as much as you can. You don't have to it every day, try once in every other day.

- The best moisturizer oils for our scalp that will help our hair to promote hair growth are:

  • Grapeseed oil
  • Tee tree oil
  • Peppermint oil
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Castro Oil
  • Almond oil
  • Rosemary oil

- If you can't afford to buy all these essentials oils then buy grapeseed oil and Olive oil. These two oils are SUPER CHEAP( you can't go wrong with that). I have tried it myself and it works perfectly. If you don't moisturize your scalp, it will just leave your hair into DRYNESS.
You can get this in any grocery store.

STEP 4 PROTECTIVE STYLE
- A Protective style is the best plan for winter because you want your hair under neat to be protected from the weather moreover you want to protect your ends which are the old parts.
Protective style such as Wigs, crochet braids, braids, flat twist, hair bun is perfect for our hair in my recommendation.

STEP 5 SLEEP SATIN SCAF
- If you want your hair to moisturize longer without remoisturize every day then sleep with a satin scarf is the perfect choice.

STEP 6 Re-moisturize
Re-moisturize your hair will a lot! use water or just Aleo vera juice!
